I’ve been fortunate enough to live in many great cities, but I’m probably the only native Floridian you’ll ever meet! I grew up near Cocoa Beach where salty air, sunburns and wild hair are a simple, peaceful way of life. I’m the oldest of three girls, have two grown girls of my own and am “Mimi” to the world’s coolest, most brilliant granddaughter. My recent move from Cleveland, OH to Charlotte, NC was mainly to be near family, experience less snow/more sunshine, and holy cow – the bbq, but I will always root for the Buckeyes!
Much of my background and experience centers around Healthcare. Right out of school, I worked for hospitals, urgent care centers, emergency rooms and spent almost 15 years helping manage a surgical practice for a group of seven trauma surgeons. I started working on web design and graphic design on the side in my free time and soon realized my love for all things digital. Add to that my love of photography and you get a sort of nature-loving super-nerd who can manage people *and* handle blood and guts! I believe that honesty and integrity is crucial in every relationship, personally and professionally. I don’t believe in buzzwords or platitudes.
My niche would have to be the UX and UI aspect of Marketing – the design of the storytelling. I am a creative at heart who believes that great visuals and experiences leave an impression on our psyche. That, in turn, has an engaging effect on users and helps promote a brand. Colors, fonts, visual identity, interactive design, responsive websites – are all crucial components for a satisfactory experience which adds to better marketing output. I like to bring out-of-box ideas and solve problems creatively.
Working for endevis has been a gift, in so many ways. I get to work with some incredible people with different backgrounds and cultures who teach me and inspire me daily to push harder, be stronger, and to think bigger. The opportunities I’ve been offered at endevis only fuel my creative light and in the last (almost) 6 years, I’ve accomplished some incredible goals that I’m so very proud of.
