BACKGROUND
I live in Michigan (Go Blue), but truly consider Toledo, Ohio my home. Growing up as a kid on our street was definitely fun. There were several families with kids the same age. We would have block parties, swim for hours, and explore the neighborhood. We were always outside playing, which is one of the things I think a lot of kids are missing out today.
Before coming to endevis, I worked at Talent Track for 5 years where I met some amazing people and learned about Recruitment Process Outsourcing. After a short stint at First Solar, endevis became my home for the last 8 plus years.
CAREER HISTORY
My recruiting career began with Sterling Healthcare, recruiting emergency department physicians for over 20 hospitals throughout Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Missouri. In 2007, I moved to Talent Track to recruit physicians for Tenet. During my time at Talent Track, I earned my CPC certification and had the opportunity to work with a lot of great people who taught me about Recruitment Process Outsourcing. Today, I am lucky enough to still to be working with and learning from them.
NICHE/SUCCESS STORIES
My niche is healthcare recruiting. Since I am not a clinician, I have always felt if I was able to place the right physician in an emergency department that saved just one person, then I made an impact.
ENDEVIS
I enjoy the people and the culture at endevis the most.
OUTSIDE OF WORK
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. We have carried on the tradition we grew up with and still get together for Sunday dinners. We also play a card game called “Push Rummy” that has been passed down four generations.
FAVORITES
- My favorite quote is “Attitude” by Charles Swindoll. I agree 100% that you can’t change how or what happens, you can only change how you react.
- My favorite TV show would have to be Game of Thrones (with the exception of the last season).
- Favorite sport is hockey and the Red Wings (Nashville Predators are a close 2nd)
