]]>I grew up in Solon, OH. I come from a family of 5 with 2 older sisters. I am extremely close with my family and having 2 sisters to look up to was amazing! My mom, my sisters and I all attended The Ohio State University. I grew up playing volleyball and played at a collegiate level for 1 year at Ohio State. I graduated from OSU in December of 2020 and have decided to stay in Columbus, OH as it has grown to be my favorite city!
I graduated from Ohio State with a degree in Hospitality Management. After graduating, I worked in healthcare recruiting for 1 year before coming to endevis. Recruiting is a career that motivates me as I enjoy working one on one with candidates and making a difference in the lives of others.
I have experience in contract staffing/interim services recruiting!
I enjoy the culture of endevis. Everyone is extremely welcoming and will drop anything to help. I value working in a team environment while also having individual success.
Outside of work, I enjoy going on walks with my pup, playing pickleball and volleyball, and happy hour! I always love a good movie and popcorn on a Sunday as well.
– Colleen Hoover books
– American Idol
– Country music
– I love a good rom com or psychological thriller movie!

]]>I grew up the as the youngest of four children in Sylvania. I am also the 36th of 56 grandchildren on my mother’s side, and spent a lot of time with my cousins growing up. I attended St. John’s Jesuit for Junior High and High School before attending Miami University in Oxford. Athletics have always been a part of my life- from attending my siblings games, to playing in my own.
Before I started with Endevis in 2022, my background primarily consisted of sales related roles in the metals, medical device and transportation industry.
I am working with clients in all types of industries right now, but I hope to immerse myself into an area of expertise over the next several months.
The main thing I really enjoy about my recruiting role with Endevis, is the power and ability to help candidates improve their lives. Endevis works with so many solid client companies and it gives me extra confidence that we are making a positive difference in our candidates professional and personal lives. The human element at Endevis cannot be understated. The people here exude a positive, hardworking attitude every single day making the culture very conducive for success.
Outside of work, I enjoy as much time as possible with my wife and our two sons, Noah and Welles. Being able to feed Noah’s passion for sports is a lot of fun and I look forward to the days of watching him play and teach Welles everything he knows.

]]>I grew up in Sylvania, OH and lived there for 23 years of my life. Before joining endevis, I was working down in Columbus for a year working as a New Homes Sales Consultant. Now, I live in Cleveland area and working out of the Independence endevis office.
After graduating from the University of Toledo, I accepted a position as an outside sales consultant where I discovered my passion for sales. Ultimately, I was given an opportunity to display my skills at endevis, while learning all there is to know about full life cycle recruiting. I am driven to learn as much as I can everyday here.
I enjoy the flexibility and family comes first approach…

]]>I was born in the Philadelphia area, and then moved to Indiana when I was eight years old. I grew up in Northwest Indiana and went to Crown Point school system. While in Indiana, I became a big Chicago and Notre Dame sports fan. I played various sports growing up including baseball, soccer and ran track. I moved to Chillicothe, Ohio my junior year of high school and then attended Ashland University as a Finance / Accounting major.
My father was an automotive executive and he and my mother were together for over 60 years. My brother, sister and I all worked with AlliedSignal Bendix at one time. My brother Bryce is currently Vice President – Global Products Operations at Johnson Controls. My sister Leanne is a former Navy engineer and is an author of young adult books (https://www.thriftbooks.com/a/leanne-k-currie-mcghee/594671/).
I met Jenanne, my wife, in 1983 — she was the sister of one of my friends at Ashland. We got married in 1985 and have 2 children — Preston (age 29) and Abby (age 27). Preston is a Senior Crop Protection Cost Accountant & Global Product Cost Analyst at Corteva Agriscience in Indianapolis and Abby is an HR Business Partner with Amazon in Las Vegas. We have 2 dogs — Hilda (10) and Dixie (6).
I started with Price Waterhouse — South Bend out of college and am a licensed CPA (non-practicing). I worked for PWC for 5 years before moving to AlliedSignal Bendix in 1990. While there, I completed my Masters Degree in Business at Indiana University. I transitioned into operations and led AlliedSignal’s Total Quality group for the Automotive Brake sector in 1993-1995. I then moved to HR management roles at both non-union and union plants.
Throughout the remainder of my career, I worked in progressively more challenging HR roles for Libbey Owens Ford, Bosch, Hendrickson International, Hayes Lemmerz, Dow Corning and Dana Corporation. My last position was VP of HR for the Dana Light Vehicle Driveline Group where I oversaw HR operations for 40 plants globally.
During my career, I learned the importance of networking and bringing in great talent — I first used a recruiter by the name of Greg Dunn of AIM Executives in 1995 to place a materials manager in my Tennessee plant (Mike Clem, a very successful VP today). I formed a partnership with Greg that continued over my career at various companies and also worked closely with Mark Simonetti and Mark Melfi for many years. The partnership we formed led to the creation of great talent in my company and on my HR teams, which has allowed me to have a great network of connections throughout the world. Most recently, while working at Dana, I contracted with the endevis team to fill many key roles within my group as well as in the new electrification space. This led to endevis enhancing its relationship with Dana.
Currently, I am performing both Business Development and PDP work with endevis. We have successfully engaged several new clients including Pace industries, AGC, Gentherm and have others in process. I also have found that I enjoy working jobs (particularly HR jobs) and expanding my network while providing clients great talent. Some recent candidate placements include Dawn Skinner (Benefits Specialist) and Danielle Haugh (HR Manager) at Pace Industries;as well as Brandon Lentz (District Sales Manager) and Kruthi Marri (Sr Quality Engineer) at Dana.
I enjoy our commitment to client service and love the challenge of finding a great candidate fit for each client position we are engaged to fill. I also enjoy the people who work at endevis, some of whom have been friends and colleagues for many years.
Jenanne and I attend a significant number of concerts yearly — in the last couple weeks we have seen Cheap Trick, Goo Goo Dolls, Styx and Train. We are heading to Summerfest in Milwaukee next week to see a variety of bands. We average around 5-10 concerts a year.
We also travel with our dogs a lot. We take winter trips to get away from the Ohio cold — planning on visiting Savannah, Fort Myers and Ocean Springs (Ms) in 2022. We also spend a lot of time in Michigan and love the UP. You can generally find me in or near a casino.

]]>I was born and raised in the country: Hinckley, Ohio (“Home of the Buzzards”). I am the youngest of four children; height and the ability to talk to anyone runs in my family. I have been around the executive search business since I was ten years old. My father started a boutique search firm back in 1979 from the den of our house with my mother. My father was the Director of Human Resources at Revco Drug stores back in the mid to late ’70s and left his “cushy” job at the age of 40 with four children to follow his lifelong dream. While at Revco, he was signing off on some significantly-sized checks that they were writing to these search firms out of New York and Chicago to bring talent into Cleveland. My father wanted to be on the receiving end of those checks, and really enjoyed the Recruiting/Talent Management side of HR. Let’s just say his risk at age 40 paid off nicely for him and our entire family. So, if there were a person that I would have to look up to or call my hero, it would be my father, Dale C. Chorba ( Great Father, Leader, and Mentor).
I have a vanity plate that reads, “DNT QUIT”, a motivational poem my father gave me the day I left for college back in August of 1987. He signed it, told me he loved me, and he said, “NEVER FORGET IT”. I have the original framed and hanging in my house to this day. I read it every day, and think of him… then, go out and Seize The Day!!!
Right out of college, I sold Canon & Sharp copiers in downtown Cleveland very successfully for close to three years. My father never gave any of his children a job after graduating college, we had to “EARN IT” before he let us in the door. I worked for my father and my family’s executive search business for over 20 years before jumping out of the family nest and joining endevis in May of 2017.
I believe in the Four Agreements:
1. Be Impeccable with your word
2. Don’t take anything personally
3. Don’t make assumptions
4. Always do your best
I specialize in placing Retained & Contingent Mid to C-Suite Accounting, Finance, Tax, and Audit professionals here in the Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Columbus, and Pittsburgh markets.
The friendly environment, people, and the freedom they give me to SUCCEED!!! Mark Melfi told me hour one of day one, ” Give me activity or give me results”. I personally prefer Results, they pay the bills!!…
I enjoy my faith in God, my FAMILY, watching Buckeye Football, shooting sporting clays, golf, going to the gym.
Please read the Don’t Quit poem, it might change your life!!!

]]>I grew up in Swanton, Ohio, the class of 2001, and moved on to play football for Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. I absolutely loved my time in college and met some of my best friends (still!) during my time there. My biggest passion is my family, in my son and daughter, ages 9 and 7. We love to travel, eat, and play about any game you can think of!
I actually graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University with a degree in Education. I taught elementary school phys ed at a private school for a few years before the recession in 2008. My job was eliminated for budget reasons and I was lucky enough to gain an opportunity to enter sales for Cintas. I spent 5 1/2 wonderful years with the company but it was time for me to move. After a brief stop as a Sales Manager for a telecom company, I interviewed for a recruiter role with Randstad Engineering. After a few years of working from home, I met with Mark Melfi one early morning and the rest is history! I love recruiting, matching a company and a candidate, and truly love this company!
If you have a job, I can fill it! (Or at least try my best to fill it!) I have a passion for finding the right person for the right job. I truly want every situation to be a win-win for the client AND the candidate.
The people. I believe that we have fantastic people that lead this company. I have worked for 5 companies in my life and endevis is far and away the strongest company that I have ever worked for, because of this leadership.
I love all things Cleveland! Food, sports, the Lake, and best of all: the people!

]]>I was born and raised in Toledo then started an across-the-US trek from Michigan to Colorado to Texas and then back to beautiful Ohio. I enjoyed all my travels and living in different ecosystems and would not have given up my travels for the world. I have been active in athletics my entire life starting in gymnastics then gravitating towards wrestling and martial arts. I had a teacher in High School who had a significant impact on me who I still stay in touch with.
I started recruiting at AIM Executive where a lot of endevis PDP recruiters cut their teeth. Then, I started my own company, which I ran for 9 years. I got tired of all the headaches of ownership and AIM had become endevis, so I came full-circle back to my roots.
My practice area is the hardest area to recruit on the planet (emerging technologies) but (being a nerd at heart) working in and staying abreast of new technologies excites me and keeps my ADD at bay.
Freedom to work on anything you like.
I never sit still and am involved in almost all types of athletics and exercise daily. I enjoy all types of activities and have a goal to be better than average at everything I do. I am an active triathlete (until this year when everything got cancelled), avid mountain biker/racer, rock climber, cross-fitter – anything that gets my heart racing. I grow and cross-breed super-hot peppers and love to cook. I started making my own pasta this year and will never go back to store-bought. I like to challenge myself every year to learn a new skill and to continue to improve myself. Things I have done include: bonsai, glass-blowing, wood-working and art. I also bake the best chocolate-chip cookies on the planet!

]]>I grew up in Toledo, in a family of 6. I’m the second oldest and definitely a baby boomer. I have 2 sisters and 3 other brothers – we were all very close. I grew up playing pick up football and baseball; sports were a big part of our family. I went to school locally at St. Francis DeSales High School – and then on to the University of Toledo, graduating in 1982. Prior to endevis, I joined Aim Executive Recruiting and Search right out of UT and spent 27 years there. Fortunately, I was recruited by endevis! My Father was my biggest critic and inspired me to succeed in this industry. After my first year in the industry, my father told me to get a real job!! From that day on, I never looked back and have enjoyed an awesome career!
BBA U of T, Certified Personnel Consultant, Expert in Relationship Development, most of my experience has been in the Automotive Supply and OEM base manufacturing, with some Consumer Durable clientele, close to 40 years in the recruiting industry. My values are: do your job and do it well, everyone will be successful and in the bad times, dig in and never give up! Our environment at endevis helps us achieve this!
Business Development/relationship building, every situation, good or bad is an opportunity to excel! The ability to change peoples’ thought processes to change an outcome positively! My best deal ever was placing a Gen. Manager for auto seat manufacturer in Monroe Mich. to Hiroshima Japan and charging Ford 40% for him!
The Team Building environment: it’s amazing to me when a group of people can come together and help each other be successful, our business environment enables us to do that.
I enjoy golfing and working out, spending time with my twins, granddaughters, stepchildren and my wife Kim “her Majesty”, working around my house and at the end of the day being able to watch the sun set!
