Maumee, OH, April 4, 2017 – endevis is pleased to announce and welcome Dan Wood as Vice President of Client Solutions, emphasizing his years of experience as a health care operator to assist in industry development.
Dan will be responsible for overseeing the formation of new business partnerships as well as the planning and execution of comprehensive strategies to increase sales and company growth. Dan brings over thirty (30) years of experience in the health care industry to endevis, including executive positions with HCR ManorCare, Lexington Health Network, Kingston Healthcare and Golden LivingCenters.
“We’re bringing differentiated solutions to market, and Dan’s experience as an Operations Manager will provide us with a broad range of expertise in skilled nursing care, assisted living services, hospice, home health care and rehabilitation services. Dan will add another level of opportunity for endevis with his experience in developing partnerships with hospital systems, physician groups and managed care organizations,” said Ron Walters, Senior Managing Partner and head of endevis’ Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) business solution group.
Dan also has comprehensive knowledge in human resources, which will help him hit the ground running with a focus on RPO. Among his many achievements, Dan has structured a successful outsourcing process in the recruitment for health care services with HCR ManorCare and Lexington Health Network. Most recently, Dan helped manage an RPO solution for all the staff recruiting in South Dakota and Minnesota for Golden Living. Dan also has experience in agency elimination and labor management, as well as in reducing turnover and increasing retention.
Dan states, “This is a dynamic time in the delivery of health care services. We have just seen the first wave of baby-boomers leave the industry and new employees entering the industry have more choices in the continuum of care than ever before. Operators in the skilled nursing and post-acute arenas are experiencing reimbursement reductions due to low star ratings driven by low staffing levels and turnover. The RPO solution provides providers a new strategy during these challenging times. The RPO provides opportunities for greater efficiencies and effectiveness. The focus of the RPO solution is helping people find the right jobs and companies find engaged employees.”
Dan received his Bachelor of Science from James Madison University where he majored in Special Education. Later, Dan earned his Master of Science in Health Services Administration from the prestigious George Washington University. Additionally, Dan has been certified as a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators (FACHCA) for more than 20 years where he served in various leadership capacities including President of California and Governor of California, Hawaii, and Nevada. Today, Dan serves as a member of various health care associations, as board member for the Historic Westmoreland Association and serves a volunteer for the Toledo Arts Commission.
