BACKGROUND

Born in Alabama, attended high school in West Virginia, then served in the United States Air Force (Aerovac Medic) stationed in Texas and North Carolina. In 1999, I started corporate recruiting then in 2016 made the leap to 3rd party recruiting – never looking back! Driven by family, self-motivation to be successful, and a little competition from my peers.

CAREER HISTORY

Started as a trainer/Recruiter at Fidelity in Cincinnati, OH, once making the move to 3^rd party recruiting, I have specialized in engineering roles.

NICHE/SUCCESS STORIES

Consultative Engineering.

I reached out to a candidate some time ago. In fact, I reached out to him for a completely different position as my other clients did not have any locations in his area of residence. I found that he was not a fit for what that client needed. Thinking outside of the box, I reached out to one of my top clients, discussed his background & they interviewed him, although they did not have an office in his geographical area. They loved him! He was seeking 85K for pay, the client offered 100K to start. Happy client, happy candidate!

OUTSIDE OF WORK

I love composing music (have a recording studio in my home) & performed live across the country over the years, sharing the stage with bands such as Fuel, Shinedown, Ataris, Marcy Playground, Alien Ant Farm & Kyle Cook of Matchbox 20 (to name a few).
