Kathy Suber – Our New HR Generalist
Congratulations are in order for Kathy Suber, as endevis is happy to announce her new role as Human Resources Generalist. Kathy joined endevis in June 2014 as an Executive Recruiter within the Professional Direct Placement group. Kathy has demonstrated consistent success, drive, initiative and growth since joining the organization. Kathy’s education at Bowling Green State University with a concentration in Organizational/Relational Communication and a minor in Human Resources, has prepared her well for this new role. Throughout her career within endevis, Kathy has taken on many additional initiatives that have provided tremendous value and help drive endevis’ brand within the community.
Kathy will begin her new role on Monday, July 6th. Her office will be located in the Toledo South location, but she will be visiting all offices regularly. We look forward to her continued contribution to the endevis organization and look forward to her leadership within the Human Resources group. Her consistent display of endevis’ Core Values will help develop endevis into not only an employer of choice within the industry but a firm driving towards best practices within Human Resources.
Congratulations Kathy!
Chris Nichols Promoted to VP of Marketing
endevis is excited to announce the promotion of Chris Nichols to the new role of Vice President of Marketing for the entire endevis organization.
Chris joined endevis in 2018 as a member of the RPO team focused on Client Solutions. Over the next 2 years, Chris played an important role in the growth of the RPO group and worked on several marketing initiatives for our other Solution Groups as well. Chris demonstrated his ability to work with teams of all sizes and generated many thoughts and ideas on how to further promote the endevis brand using content, press releases and social media. He was instrumental in improving our brand footprint in RPO and we believe he will do the same in the Vice President of Marketing role.
Chris has a Bachelor and Master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and worked in the Staffing Industry for 2 years prior to joining endevis. Chris, his wife Hayley and 3 daughters live in the Greater Nashville and he is an avid Miami Dolphins fan.
Chris will begin his new role on Monday, July 6, 2020, based out of our Nashville location. We look forward to his continued contribution to the endevis organization and look forward to his leadership in the brand and marketing area!
Congratulations Chris!
COVID-19
There is increasing concern about the spread of the coronavirus – now referred to as COVID-19 – and what it means for each of us, our families and our operations. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) the virus is present in over 79 countries and we expect more cases to be identified in the United States as testing becomes readily available to community physicians. We also expect that many who test positive may not become very sick. Individuals who are older or have weakened immune systems may be most impacted. As the United States identifies more individuals with COVID-19, who have mild symptoms and who completely recover, the mortality rate will be driven down.
To protect the health and wellbeing of our employees, their families, and our community, endevis has implemented an updated workplace safety and wellness policy:
- Employees who have symptoms of acute respiratory illness are recommended to stay home and not come into work until they are free of fever, signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicine. Employees should notify their supervisor and stay home if they are sick or in immediate contact with someone who is sick, such as a family member or child.
- Healthcare provider’s note will NOT be required for employees who are sick with acute respiratory illness to validate their illness or to return to work, as healthcare provider offices and medical facilities may be extremely busy and not able to provide such documentation in a timely way.
- endevis will remain committed to flexible sick leave and work from home policies that permit employees to stay home should symptoms arise or to care for a family member who is sick.
- endevis has maximized the employees’ ability to work remotely as needed.
- endevis will follow the US Department of State’s Travel Advisory list.
- Employee travel outside the organization must be approved by managers.
- Employees are advised to check themselves for symptoms of acute respiratory illness before starting travel and notify their supervisor and stay home if they are sick.
- endevis is committed to continuous communication with all external contractors and vendors and comply with all health and safety requirements.
